From April, 16 till April, 18th, 2010 in Russia, in St.-Petersburg, in a Sports-Concert Complex “Peterburgsky”, The Fourth Martial Arts Olympics “East-West Open” will have place.

 

Under the request of our colleagues its program has extended (see chapter “List of competitions”). The decision on inclusion in the program of Olympics competitions on Thai boxing and on Penchak-silat is accepted. Both these of a kind do not require representation and well-known to fans of Martial Arts. Are assured, that their occurrence will adorn our sports holiday and make a good job for better representation of different Martial Arts from different countries. In chapter “Rules info” in the near future it will be already possible to familiarize with rules of competitions by these kinds, and in chapter “List of competitions” to find the contact information on the main judges and coordinators of these kinds.

 

The program of forthcoming Olympics while is known only preliminary and, nevertheless, already now it is possible to speak that we expect about seven thousand sportsmen from more than fifty countries. Budo-show, “ a firm card” of our Olympics, will pass, how it is usual in the first day of competitions, on April, 16th. To make an application on participation in it we ask to contact the main director of Budo-show Marina Sen. In more detail how it can be made and what from you is required, you can find in chapter “Budo-show” in the nearest future.

 

In the organization of upcoming Olympics The Fund of development of Russia is going to accept an active participation, for what we in advance state it the gratitude. Besides it is necessary to thank still time of our constant partners “Northwest bank of the Savings Bank of Russia” (the head – Mr Loginov A.L.), the insurance company “Medexpress” (the head - Mrs Shumilova N.Y.) and the Laser center (the head - Mr Gorny S.G.). We hope, that we’ll have chance to thank them and after following Olympics.
